Most effective: Photo number 3.
Switching the DOF changes the mood of the photo, by having a lower DOF, to me it makes the photo look more professional and planned. Having a higher DOF makes it look like an iPhone picture.

Photo 3: f/1.4 1/320s ISO: 800
Photo 4: f/4 1/2000s ISO: 200
Photo 5: f/1.5 1/2000s ISO: 300
By having a lower f stop, you can see how it drags you into the models eyes (Where the focus is) this gives it a more satisfying look. As you can see in photo #6, it is too distracting and there is not enough detail.
